Experienced American Matt Bonds (196-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Osaka Evessa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 30-year old forward had the game-high 33 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Osaka E. as his team lost the game against Alvark Tokyo (#4, 21-11) 88-105. Evessa moved-up to the 9th position in Japanese B1 League. Osaka E. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 19th lost game this season out of 32 games. In the team's last game Bonds had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Evessa and it's hard to imagine this team without him. St. Michael's College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bonds is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.0ppg) and averages solid 58.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Tyler Cook (206-PF-1997) of Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots. Cook impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Robots lost that game 81-88 to slightly higher-ranked Koshigaya A. (#8, 12-20). Ibaraki R. managed to keep the same 10th spot in East. 23 lost games are too many comparing to just nine victories Robots managed to get this year. Cook is a newcomer at Ibaraki R. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Italian Angelo Caloiaro (203-F-1989, agency: Pensack Sports) of Kyoto Hannaryz (#12). Caloiaro showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Hannaryz, leading his team to a 82-71 win against the higher-ranked Yokohama BC (#9, 11-21). Kyoto H. can only dream about fighting for top spots in East. They have rather bad season and 9-23 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Caloiaro has a very solid season. In 8 games in Japan he scored 19.3ppg. He also has 6.6rpg, 4.3apg and a FGP of 67.1%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
