25-year old American forward Blake Preston (206-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Gifu Swoops and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 32.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Shinagawa (#14, 8-22) 81-66. Swoops is placed at 6th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Gifu will need more victories to improve their 17-13 record. In the team's last game Preston had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Swoops's top player in his first season with the team. Northwestern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Preston is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.9rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 55.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Andrew Fitzgerald (202-C/F-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) of Tachikawa Dice. He is American in his 3rd season at Tachikawa. In the last game Fitzgerald recorded an impressive 33 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Dice to another comfortable win 110-97 over the lower-ranked Tokyo Z (#12, 10-22) being unquestionably team leader. Tachikawa's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 15-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Fitzgerald is one of the most experienced players at Tachikawa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#4). He also registered 6.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Josh Scott (210-C/F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Okayama Try Hoop (#4). Scott scored 14 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Try Hoop, leading his team to a 85-63 easy win against the lower-ranked Yamaguchi (#13, 9-23). Okayama needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 20 victories and 10 lost games. Scott has a great season in Japan. After 30 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (5th best).
