30-year old American power forward Jeremy Combs (201-F/C-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Earthfriends Tokyo Z and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 28.
He had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Tokyo Z in his team's victory, helping them to crush Niigata A. (#5, 17-11) with 23-point margin 102-79. Earthfriends is placed at 11th position in Japanese B3 League. Tokyo Z is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-19 record. In the team's last game Combs had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Earthfriends's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Southern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Combs is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.8ppg) and averages solid 67.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mutombo Jean-Pierre (206-C-2002) of Niigata Albirex. He is a center in his second season at Niigata A.. In the last game Jean-Pierre recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Albirex to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Tokyo Z (#11, 9-19) 85-63. Niigata A.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 17-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jean-Pierre is well-known at Niigata A. and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to center Chris McLaughlin (208-C-1992, agency: Starting 5) of league's leader Tokushima Gambarous. McLaughlin showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Gambarous, leading his team to a 93-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Tokyo HT (#6, 16-10). Tokushima Gam. confirms their top position in the standings.
