American Jacob Polakovich (208-C-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Shanan United and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 25-year old center had a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Yamaguchi (#14, 8-20) 80-73. United is placed at 8th position in Japanese B3 League. Shanan Utd is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-13 record. Polakovich turned to be United's top player in his first season with the team. University of Southern Indiana graduate has very impressive stats this year. Polakovich is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.3ppg) and averages solid 55.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American swingman LJ Peak (196-F/G-1996) of Tachikawa Dice. Peak impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course Dice cruised to a 86-78 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Tokyo Utd (#10, 9-17). Tachikawa's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 13-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Peak is a newcomer at Tachikawa and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#2). He also registered 5.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Bostyn Holt (201-G-1999) of Yamaguch Pats Five (#14). Holt showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Holt's great performance the Pats Five lost 73-80 to the higher-ranked Shanan Utd (#8, 13-13). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Yamaguchi can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 8-20 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Holt has a very solid season. In 28 games in Japan he scored 10.0ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
