American Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Kobe Storks and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 27-year old power forward had a double-double of 40 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed Bambitious N. (#6, 9-19) with 23-point margin 83-60. It allowed Storks to consolidate first place in the Japanese B2 League. Kobe S. has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 26-2. Childs turned to be Storks's top player in his first season with the team. Brigham Young University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Childs is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 11.4rpg) and averages solid 54.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Clay Mounce (199-F-1998, agency: Slash Sports) of Iwate Big Bulls. Mounce impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Big Bulls lost that game 70-77 to the higher-ranked Fukushima (#1, 24-4). Iwate managed to keep the same 5th spot in East. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Big Bulls managed to get this year. Mounce is well-known by Iwate fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 7.9rpg and 3.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was Spanish Pablo Aguilar (204-PF-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of Fukuoka Rizing (#4). Aguilar showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. Despite Aguilar's great performance the Rizing lost 76-88 to the lower-ranked Shizuoka (#7, 6-22). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Fukuoka R. ranking at the top of West, however are very questionable as they have already lost 16 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Aguilar could help Fukuoka R. to bring them higher in the standings. Aguilar has a great season in Japan. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (4th best).
