23-year old American center Even Brauns (206-C-2002, agency: Diamond Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Yamaguch Pats Five and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Tokyo Z (#14, 7-17) 87-78. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Pats Five is placed at 12th position in Japanese B3 League. Yamaguchi is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-18 record. Brauns turned to be Pats Five's top player in his first season with the team. University of Iowa graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brauns is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.9ppg), rebounds (5th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 61.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Victor Hart (203-F-2001) of Shinagawa City Basketball Club. He is American forward in his first season at Shinagawa. In the last game Hart recorded an impressive 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Shinagawa lost that game 76-91 to slightly higher-ranked Tokyo Utd (#11, 8-16). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Shinagawa keeps 13th position. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Shinagawa managed to get this year. Hart is a newcomer at Shinagawa and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.9ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 11.1rpg and 3.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jaycee Hillsman (200-G-1996) of Earthfriends Tokyo Z (#14). Hillsman scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Hillsman's great performance the Earthfriends lost 78-87 to slightly higher-ranked Yamaguchi (#12, 8-18). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tokyo Z can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 7-17 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Hillsman has a very solid season. In 2 games in Japan he scored 19.0ppg.

4. Christian Cunningham (201-F-1997) of Shanan Utd - 20 points and 6 rebounds

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
