The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Toyota A. (12-2) in Nagoya on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Denso I. (10-4) 67-66. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds. contributed with 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Amaka Okonkwo answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for Toyota A.Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Denso I. moved-up to second place, which they share with Sunshine R. Toyota A. at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Denso I. is looking forward to face Fujitsu RW (#4) in Kawasaki in the next round. Toyota A. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Sunshine R. in Aichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sunshine R. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Toyota A., which they share with Denso I. Loser Aishin AW keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Sunshine R. will meet at home league's leader Toyota A. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aishin AW will play against Haneda V. (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Other games in round 7 were not that significant. Bottom-ranked Haneda V. was beaten by Chanson V-M on the road 73-68. Fujitsu RW won against Eneos S. on its own court 71-65.
