American Victor Hart (203-F-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Shinagawa City Basketball Club and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Veertien Mie (#15, 2-12) 80-71. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Shinagawa is placed at 13th position in Japanese B3 League. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Shinagawa have already lost 12 games and recorded just four victories. In the team's last game Hart had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Shinagawa's top player in his first season with the team. University of Southern Mississippi graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hart is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.9ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.7rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg,2.5spg,55.1% FGP and 40.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Eugene Phelps (198-F-1990) of Niigata Albirex. Phelps impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Albirex to another comfortable win 88-72 over Okayama (10-6) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Niigata A. to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Phelps is a newcomer at Niigata A. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.1ppg (#8). He also registered 8.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Spanish David Doblas (208-C-1981) of Veertien Mie (#15). Doblas showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Doblas' great performance the Veertien Mie lost 71-80 to slightly higher-ranked Shinagawa (#13, 4-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Veertien Mie can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 2-12 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Doblas has a very solid season. In 6 games in Japan he scored 14.0ppg. He also has 11.5rpg and a FGP of 63.3%.
