Kagoshima Rebnise (B2 League) signed Patrik Auda, a 35-year-old Czech power forward, for the upcoming season. Auda, who stands at 206cm tall, previously played for Aomori Watts in the B2 League, where he averaged 18.2ppg, 6.4rpg, and 1.5apg in 30 games last season. He has also played for SunRockers and Watts in the B1 League in Japan.
Auda was also a member of the Czech Republic international program for some years. He played for Czech Republic Senior National Team between 2014 and 2023 and previously for the University National Team back in 2011.
Auda also represented Czech Republic at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. During this event he scored an average of 9.8 ppg and had 3.5 rpg.
He is a very experienced player, and thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Auda is familiar with European, Asian, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in France (Boulazac Basket), Italy (Pistoia and Avellino), Poland (AZS, HydroTruck, and Polfarmex), and Spain (BAXI Manresa).
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Japanese B League Central Division in 2023. Auda was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention in 2024. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Kagoshima.
He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2014 and it'll be his 12th season in pro basketball.
