Sendai 89ers (B1 League) added to their roster 26-year old American guard Jarrett Culver (198cm-88kg-1999, college: Texas Tech) for new 2025-26 season. He played last season at Osceola Magic (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 54 NBA-G-League games he recorded 12.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg. He also played for Magic in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League where in 54 games he averaged 12.9ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.3apg.
In 2019 he was drafted by Phoenix Suns (NBA) in first round (6th overall). The former Texas Tech University star is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
Culver has played also professionally in NBA (Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (RGV Vipers and Memphis Hustle). He played in the final of NBA G League in 2025.
Culver was voted All-Big 12 Player of the Year back in 2019 at his college time.
