28-year old American center Dererk Pardon (203-C-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Altiri Chiba and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 48.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Fukuoka R. (#1, 34-14) with 20-point margin 80-60. It allowed Chiba to consolidate first place in the Japanese B2 League. Chiba has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 45-3. It's Pardon's second year at Chiba and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Northwestern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Pardon is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.6rpg) and averages solid 66.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Morris Udeze (206-F/C-1999, agency: Pensack Sports) of Fukushima Firebonds. He is Nigerian-American forward in his first season at Fukushima. In the last game Udeze recorded an impressive 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Firebonds lost that game 96-104 to slightly higher-ranked Ehime OV (#7, 4-44). Fukushima managed to keep the same 7th spot in East. 36 lost games are too many comparing to just twelve victories Firebonds managed to get this year. Udeze is a newcomer at Fukushima and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Mitchell Watt (208-C-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of Toyama Grouses (#3). Watt showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Grouses, leading his team to a 91-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Yamagata (#6, 18-30). Toyama G. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in East. Their record at this point is 31 victories and 17 lost games. Watt has a very solid season. In 47 games in Japan he scored 15.4ppg. He also has 7.7rpg, 1.2bpg and a FGP of 57.8%.
