Tokyo Z - Kanazawa 80-70

Very expected game in Tokyo where Kanazawa was defeated by Earthfriends 80-70 on Tuesday. Tokyo Z looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kanazawa's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Jaycee Hillsman (200-1996, college: Illinois St.) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Takumi Ide (174-1999) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists. American guard Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Deandre Abram (203-1997, college: Milwaukee) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Earthfriends will meet Tachikawa on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kanazawa will play against Niigata A. and hope to win that game.
