Hayashi re-signs at Fujitsu Red Wave

Saki Hayashi

Fujitsu Red Wave (WJBL) confirmed in their roster 29-year old international guard Saki Hayashi (173cm-65kg-1995) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played there last season. In 32 WJBL games she had 11.7ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.9apg. She helped them to win the WJBL title (three times). Good season as she was named League Player of the Week and named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese WJBL First Team.
For six previous seasons (2017-23) she played at another Japanese team Eneos Sunflowers.
Hayashi has been also a member of the Japanese international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Japanese senior team since 2015 and previously for the University National Team back in 2017.
Hayashi also represented Japan at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. But her stats at that event were not that impressive as she did not score anything.
She is a very experienced player.
