Nagasaki lands Jehyve Floyd

Jehyve Floyd

Nagasaki Velca (B1 League) signed 27-year-old American 203cm center Jehyve Floyd (college: Holy Cross) for the upcoming season. He most recently played for Team Diesel (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In a recent TBT game, he recorded 7 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. Last season, he played for various teams, finishing with Bnei Ofek Dist Hertzeliya (Winner League) in the Israeli league, Merkezefendi (BSL) in the Turkish league, and SC Prometey Kamianske (Lat-Est BL) in the Ukrainian league.
He is a very experienced player. Floyd has played professionally in Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Greece (Panathinaikos, Promitheas, and Larissa BC), Israel (Hapoel Gilboa Galil), Turkey (Fenerbahce and Galatasaray), Ukraine, The Basketball Tournament (Big X), and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns).
In addition to winning the Turkish League championship title in 2022, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League Center of the Year in 2021.
Floyd graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 2019 and it'll be his sixth season in pro basketball.
