Blowinds had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. Blowinds players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Gambarous' players. American players dominated the game. Guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and center David Simon (208-1982, college: PFW) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Blowinds players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

His fellow American import Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Kagoshima's coach Fernando Calero used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Five Arrows.
