28-year old American forward Josh Martin (201-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Veertien Mie and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 52.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 21 rebounds, while his team edged out Tokyo Z (#10, 22-29) 84-80. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Veertien Mie is placed at 15th position in Japanese B3 League. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 35 games and recorded just fifteen victories. In the team's last game Martin had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Veertien Mie and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Santa Clara University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Martin leads league in rebounds with 14.1rpg. Martin

Second best performed player last round was Ryan Richards (212-C-1991) of Shinagawa City Basketball Club. He is Jamaican-British center in his first season at Shinagawa. In the last game Richards recorded an impressive 28 points and 8 rebounds. Of course Shinagawa cruised to a 86-76 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Kanazawa (#18, 6-35). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Shinagawa keeps 14th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 18-32 record. Richards is a newcomer at Shinagawa and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Andrew Fitzgerald (202-C/F-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) of Tachikawa Dice (#9). Fitzgerald got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . Despite Fitzgerald's great performance the Tachikawa lost 102-106 to the higher-ranked Saitama (#4, 34-16). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Fitzgerald has a great season in Japan. After 50 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.2ppg (best scorer).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ryan Watkins (206-C/F-1991) of Saitama - 24 points and 10 rebounds
