29-year old American forward Jordan Faison (201-F-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Saitama Broncos and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 43. He had the game-high 21 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Saitama in his team's victory, helping them to beat Veertien Mie (#16, 12-30) 100-86. Broncos maintains the 4th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Saitama will need more victories to improve their 28-14 record. Faison turned to be Broncos's top player in his first season with the team. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona graduate has very impressive stats this year. Faison is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 67.4% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was AJ Bramah (201-F-1999) of Gifu Swoops. He is American-Dominican Rep. forward in his first season at Gifu. In the last game Bramah recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Swoops was edged by slightly higher-ranked Tokyo HT (#9, 20-21) 82-81. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Gifu keeps 11th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 17-25 record. Bramah is a newcomer at Gifu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.8ppg (#4). He also registered 9.6 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Chris Olivier (202-F-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) of Kanazawa Samuraiz (#18). Olivier scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Olivier's great performance the Kanazawa lost 65-104 to the higher-ranked Fukui B. (#1, 37-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kanazawa can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 5-28 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Olivier has a very solid season. In 11 games in Japan he scored 20.7ppg. He also has 8.2rpg and a FGP of 57.0%.
