Lithuanian Rokas Gustys (206-F/C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Shanan United and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 42.
The 29-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Okayama (#13, 15-27) 80-77. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Shanan Utd maintains the 10th position in Japanese B3 League. Shanan Utd is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 19-23 record. Gustys turned to be Shanan Utd's top player in his first season with the team. Hofstra University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gustys is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.2rpg) and averages solid 64.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Andrew Fitzgerald (202-C/F-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) of Tachikawa Dice. Fitzgerald impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Tachikawa cruised to a 81-69 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Tokyo Utd (#8, 22-18). This victory allowed Tachikawa to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 23-19 record is not bad and everything may still change. Fitzgerald is a newcomer at Tachikawa and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.5ppg (#2). He also registered 8.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Deandre Abram (203-F-1997) of Yamaguch Pats Five (#14). Abram scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Abram's great performance the Pats Five lost 72-87 to the higher-ranked Tokushima Gam. (#5, 27-15). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Yamaguchi not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 28 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Abram could try to bring Yamaguchi's a little bit higher in the standings. Abram has a very solid season. In 42 games in Japan he scored 18.6ppg. He also has 7.7rpg, 1.1bpg and a FGP of 54.8%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
