27-year old American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-F/C-1996, agency: One Motive Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Tokushima Gambarous and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 40.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Yokohama EX (25-15) 96-81. Gambarous is placed at 5th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tokushima Gam. will need more victories to improve their 25-15 record. In the team's last game Dawson had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Gambarous's top player in his first season with the team. California State University Northridge graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dawson is in league's top in points (5th best: 20.6ppg) and averages solid 57.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was AJ Bramah (201-F-1999) of Gifu Swoops. He is American-Dominican Rep. forward in his first season at Gifu. In the last game Bramah recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Swoops lost that game 64-84 to the higher-ranked Tokyo Utd (#7, 22-16). Gifu managed to keep the same 11th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 17-23 record. Bramah is a newcomer at Gifu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#6). He also registered 9.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Ikumi Takahashi (186-G-1998) of Shinagawa City Basketball Club (#15). Takahashi scored 26 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Shinagawa, leading his team to a 99-87 win against the higher-ranked Kagawa FA (#2, 30-8). The chances of Shinagawa not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 28 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Takahashi could try to bring Shinagawa's a little bit higher in the standings. Takahashi has individually a great season in Japan. After 40 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.0apg (8th best).
