American Guard Tray Boyd III (193-G-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Fukui Blowinds, receiving a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 35.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, five rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Shanan Utd (#12, 14-22) 102-89. It allowed Blowinds to consolidate first place in the Japanese B3 League. Fukui B. has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 31-3. In the team's last game Boyd III had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Blowinds's top player in his first season with the team. Former East Tennessee State University star has very solid stats this year. Boyd III is in league's top in points (2nd best: 24.7ppg) and averages impressive 55.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lithuanian Rokas Gustys (206-F/C-1994) of Shanan United. Gustys had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Shanan Utd lost that game 75-84 to the higher-ranked Fukui B. (#1, 31-3). This loss caused Shanan Utd to drop to 12th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-22 record. Gustys is a newcomer at Shanan Utd, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Evan Ravenel (204-C/F-1989) of league's second-best Kagawa Five Arrows. Ravenel got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of Five Arrows, leading his team to a 88-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Toyoda (#17, 8-26). Kagawa needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 27 victories and 7 lost games. Ravenel has a great season in Japan. After 34 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.9ppg (8th best). He also has a FGP of 61.4% and 3PT: 50.0%.
