American Forward Jordan Faison (201-F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Saitama Broncos, receiving a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Gifu (#12, 13-19) 89-78. Broncos is placed at 6th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Saitama will need more victories to improve their 19-13 record. Faison turned to be Broncos's top player in his first season with the team. Former California State Polytechnic University, Pomona star has very solid stats this year. Faison is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.8apg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 66.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Ito Ryota (177-PG-1992) of Shinagawa City Basketball Club. Ryota had a very good evening with 27 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course Shinagawa cruised to a 92-82 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Tokushima Gam. (#5, 21-11). Shinagawa's 16th position in the standings has not changed. 23 lost games are too many comparing to just nine victories Shinagawa managed to get this year. Ryota is a newcomer at Shinagawa, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was New Zealand forward Taane Samuel (200-F-1999) of Okayama Try Hoop (#14). Samuel showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. Despite Samuel's great performance the Try Hoop lost 78-82 to slightly lower-ranked Veertien Mie (#15, 10-22). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Okayama not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 21 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Samuel could try to bring Okayama's a little bit higher in the standings. Samuel has a very solid season. In 30 games in Japan he scored 15.9ppg. He also has 5.2rpg, 3.2apg and a FGP of 58.5%.
