American Jeremy Combs (201-C/F-1995) had a great game in the last round for Tokushima Gambarous, receiving a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 29.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Yamaguchi (#13, 11-19) with 42-point margin 111-69. Gambarous maintains the 5th position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tokushima Gam. will need more victories to improve their 20-10 record. Combs turned to be Gambarous's top player in his first season with the team. Jeremy Combs averages this season 18.4ppg and 7.9rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jordan Faison (201-F-1994) of Saitama Broncos. Faison had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Broncos lost that game 93-106 to the higher-ranked Fukui B. (#1, 27-3). Saitama managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 17-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Faison is a newcomer at Saitama, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jacob Lampkin (206-F-1996) of Earthfriends Tokyo Z (#12). Lampkin scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Lampkin's great performance the Earthfriends lost 77-87 to slightly lower-ranked Okayama (#14, 10-20). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Tokyo Z ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 17 games, recording just thirteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lampkin could help Tokyo Z to bring them higher in the standings. Lampkin has a great season in Japan. After 30 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.2rpg (5th best).
