Fitzgerald's double-double lands him B3 League Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American Andrew Fitzgerald (202-C/F-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tachikawa Dice and receives a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 28.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Tokyo Z (#10, 12-16) 102-95. Tachikawa is placed at 8th position in Japanese B3 League. Tachikawa is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-14 record. In the team's last game Fitzgerald had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tachikawa's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Oklahoma graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fitzgerald is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.5ppg. Fitzgerald is in league's top in and averages solid 54.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Cameron Parker (188-G-1998) of Earthfriends Tokyo Z. He is American guard in his first season at Tokyo Z. Parker is a newcomer at Tokyo Z and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Anthony Gaines Jr. (195-G/F-1993) of league's second-best Kagoshima Rebnise. Gaines Jr. got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was a key player of Kagoshima, leading his team to a 107-77 easy win against the lower-ranked Saitama (#7, 17-11). Kagoshima needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 22 victories and 6 lost games. Gaines Jr. has a great season in Japan. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.1ppg (8th best).
