Saga Ballooners sign Josh Harrellson

Saga Ballooners (B1 League) signed experienced 34-year old naturalized American forward Josh Harrellson (208cm-120kg-1989, college: Kentucky) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Harrellson played last season at Fukushima Firebonds in the B2 League. In 62 games he had 11.2ppg, 10.9rpg (#4 in the league), 3.8apg, 1.0spg and 1.2bpg. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention.
His team won SEC Tournament in 2010 and 2011.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Hitachi SunRockers Tokyo-Shibuya where in 52 B1 League games he recorded 11.0ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.9apg, 1.0spg and 1.1bpg in that year. 2021-22 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League Honorable Mention.
In 2011 he was drafted by New Orleans Hornets (NBA) in second round (45th overall). He graduated from University of Kentucky and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Harrellson is quite experienced player. He has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Harrellson has played previously professionally in China (Royal Fighters), Latvia (VEF Riga), Puerto Rico (Brujos), NBA (Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, NY Knicks and Washington Wizards) and The Basketball Tournament (Bluegrass Boys). His team won SEC Tournament in 2010 and 2011.
