Brandon Jawato is a newcomer at SeaHorses Mikawa

SeaHorses Mikawa (B1 League) added to their roster 29-year old Indonesian international small forward Brandon Jawato (193cm-98kg-1993, college: Hawaii) for season 2022-23. Jawato is the second import player in the roster as USA Kyle O'Quinn signed here earlier.
He played last season at Tochigi Brex. But in 11 B1 League games in Japan he recorded just 0.7ppg.
The previous (2021) summer he was tested by Indonesia (IBL) in Indonesian league.
He also represented Indonesia at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) this year. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 4 games: 6.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 16.7%, FT: 83.3%.
He has played previously for two other Indonesian teams: Pelita Jaya and CLS Knights.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won ASEAN League championship title in 2019. Jawato was voted to Indonesian All-Star Game in 2020.
He graduated from University of Hawaii in 2015 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
