Best players of Japanese B3 League round 55- April 28, 2022
The 32-year old had a double-double of 26 points and seventeen rebounds, while his team edged out Shizuoka (#4, 33-10) 109-106. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Chiba is placed at 2nd position in Japanese B3 League. They are still close to the very top. Chiba would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 34-7 record. In the team's last game Ravenel had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Chiba's top player in his first season with the team. Ohio State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ravenel is in league's top in points (3rd best: 22.4ppg) and averages solid 60.4% FGP and 41.2% from behind 3-point line. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Jordan Faison (201-F-1994) of Aisin AW. Faison impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Aisin AW to another comfortable win 100-82 over slightly higher-ranked Kagoshima (#3, 34-11) being unquestionably team leader. Aisin AW's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 30-18 record is not bad and everything may still change. Faison is a newcomer at Aisin AW and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. The third best performed player last round was American Ryan Stephan (208-C-1994) of Shizuoka (#4). Stephan showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Stephan's great performance Shizuoka lost 106-109 to #2 ranked Chiba. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Shizuoka needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 33 victories and 10 lost games. Stephan has a very solid season. In 43 games in Japan he scored 15.1ppg. He also has 9.7rpg and FGP: 60.1%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Kevin Kotzur (203-F-1989) of Chiba - 18 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists 5. Muusa Dama (207-C/F-1996) of Shizuoka - 29 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Mamadou Gueye (201-F-1993) of Yokohama EX - 20 points and 16 rebounds 7. Matt Bonds (196-F-1995) of Nagasaki - 24 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists 8. Jalen Billups (200-F/C-1992) of Toyoda - 28 points and 14 rebounds 9. Nigel Spikes (208-C-1989) of Aisin AW - 22 points and 13 rebounds 10. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
