Shinagawa - Kagoshima 59-87 There was no surprise when 14th ranked Shinagawa (3-33) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Kagoshima (27-7) 87-59. Kagoshima dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 36 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Kagoshima forced 25 Shinagawa turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-1993, college: LCU) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.
