Kumamoto Volters add Peak to their roster

Kumamoto Volters (B2 League) added to their roster 25-year old American swingman L.J. Peak (196cm-98kg-96, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) for season 2021-22. Peak played last season at Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya (B1 League). In 65 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.7apg. B2 League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final.
The previous (2020) summer he played at Team CP3 in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He represented USA at the World Championships U19 in Peakraklion (Greece) six years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 7 games: 3.6ppg, 1.1rpg, 1.3spg.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Peak's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Italy (Varese and Pistoia), New Zealand (Saints), Romania (Cluj Napoca), NBA G League (Maine RC) and Dominican Republic (El Million).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Peak's team won Romanian Cup in 2020. Peak was voted to Australiabasket.com New Zealand NBL All-Imports Team back in 2018.
He attended Georgetown University until 2017 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
