Pompea Mantova (Serie A2) added to their roster 32-year old American center David Weaver (207-113kg-87, college: Wake Forest). He played last season at Kumamoto Volters in Japanese B2 League. In 23 games he had 12.7ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg.
The most of previous (2018-19) season Weaver spent at Ankara D.S.I. (Turkish TBL) where in 23 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.0spg. He also played for Rishon (Israeli Winner League). In 7 games he averaged 4.9ppg and 2.3rpg.
Weaver attended Wake Forest University until 2010 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
