Toyota Alvark sign a second foreign player

Toyota Alvark Tokyo (B1 League) inked 28-year old Greek power forward DeShaun Thomas (201-104kg-91, college: Ohio State). He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Kevin Jones signed here earlier.
Thomas played in the summer at Carmen's Crew (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). First Thomas played at Panathinaikos (Greek A1) in Greek league where in 20 games he averaged 12.6ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.4apg. He helped them to win the regular season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 2nd Team and All-Imports Team. Thomas also played 28 games in Euroleague where he had 13.9ppg and 4.4rpg.
In 2013 Thomas was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (58th overall). He attended Ohio State and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Thomas is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (JSF Nanterre), Israel (Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv), Spain (FC Barcelona), Turkey (Anadolu Efes) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
Among many awards Thomas won The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2019. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Forward of the Year award in 2019.
