San-en NeoPhoenix (B1 League) signed 30-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) power forward Kyle Hunt (208-104kg-89, college: USAO). He played last season at UCAM Murcia in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 21 games he had 5.8ppg and 4.0rpg.
Hunt ended the previous (2018-19) season at Al Wasl (D1) in UAE league where in 7 games he recorded 5.6ppg and 4.6rpg. Hunt helped them to make it to the semifinals. But the most of that year he spent at Beirut Club (Lebanese LBL) in Lebanese league. In 8 games he averaged impressive 16.3ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg. He was also named League Player of the Week.
In 2013 (a year after he left the college) Hunt was drafted by Austin Toros (D-League) in first round (12th overall).
He attended University of Science and Arts (NAIA) until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Hunt is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Hunt has played previously professionally in Argentina (Dep Viedma and Estudiantes Concordia), Australia (Chargers), Canada (Halifax Hurricanes), Mexico (Pioneros), Turkey (Yalova Bld and Duzce Belediye), Uruguay (Olimpia), NBA G League (Austin Spurs) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Fancy).
