Jacobsen re-signs at Sendai 89ers

Sendai 89ers (B2 League) confirmed in their roster 26-year old American power forward Eric Jacobsen (208-116kg-94, college: ASU).
Jacobsen was a team leader there last season. In 9 B2 League games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.8ppg, 13.8rpg and 2.4apg. He helped them to win the regular season.
The previous (18-19) season Jacobsen played at Fukuoka Rizing (B1 League) where in 36 games he averaged remarkable 16.0ppg, 8.6rpg and 2.3apg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Jacobsen has played also professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Jacobsen won Japanese B League D2 championship title in 2018. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 1st Team in 2018.
He attended Arizona State University until 2016 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
