Pablo Aguilar (ex Tenerife) is a newcomer at Toshiba Thunders

Kawasaki Brave Thunders (B1 League) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old Spaniard ex-international power forward Pablo Aguilar (203-99kg-89). He was supposed to play at Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias in Spanish Liga Endesa.
The most of last season Aguilar spent at Grissin Bon RE (Serie A) in Italian league where in 20 games he recorded 11.2ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.0spg. He also played for Cedevita in Croatian league earlier that season. In four Eurocup games he averaged 5.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.5spg. Aguilar also played 4 games in where he had 7.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.0spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Among many awards Aguilar received Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention award back in 2016.
He was also a member of Spanish international program for some years. Aguilar played for Spanish Senior National Team between 2013 and 2018 and previously for U20 National Team between 2008 and 2009.
He also represented Spain at the European Championships five years ago. Aguilar's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 4 games: 0pts.
Aguilar has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Spain for Valencia Basket CB Granada Gran Canaria Zaragoza Real Madrid 2nd team.
