Yamagata inks Stephen Hurt, ex Yalova Bld

Pass lab Yamagata Wyverns (B2 League) agreed terms with 26-year old American forward Stephen Hurt (211-120kg-93, college: of Kansas State). He played last season at Yalova Bld in Turkish TB2L. In 16 TBL games he had 14.0ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.7apg. Hurt also played for CLS Knights in Indonesian league that season where in 8 ASEAN League games he recorded 14.3ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg.
He was voted All-A-Sun Freshman of the Year back in 2013 at his college time.
Hurt has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Lapuan Korikobrat), Qatar (Al Rayyan) and Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela).
Hurt attended of Kansas State until 2016 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
