Al Nift lift league title for the second time in a row - May 8, 2018


In the fourth game of final series Al Nift Baghdad beat Al Shurtah by 4 points. It was a close game, the first half of the game finished by 1 point for Al Shurtah 30-29, third quarter finished 44-46 for Al Nift and the final result of the game was 77-73 for Al Nift.
Thulfiqar Hammoodi (196-F-92) of Al Shurtah finished the game with 15 points & 13 rebs in 20 minutes and names as the best player in the game.
Al Shurtah missed big time Mohammed Al-Khafaji who got injured since Al Shurtah - Al Kahraba game in January.
Al Nift finished the series 3-1 after they won the first two games 88-64, 95-75 .. lost the third 78-80 and won the fourth 77-73 then they claimed the league title for second time in a row.
