Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Gorgan (11-2) on the court of sixth ranked Golnoor on Monday night. Visitors were edged by Golnoor 83-82. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Gorgan. Golnoor made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Gorgan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-1992, agency: BIG) saved the victory by scoring 19 points and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). contributed with 17 points for the winners. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for Gorgan. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Golnoor maintains sixth position with 7-7 record, which they share with Naft Zagros. Defending champion Gorgan still keeps top place with two games lost. Golnoor is looking forward to face higher ranked Naft Abadan (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gorgan will play against Kalleh (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Qeshm. Fifth ranked Naft Abadan (8-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Esteghlal (11-3) 74-71 on Monday evening. American guard Michael Frazier II (193-1994, college: Florida) scored 23 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Rasoul Mozafari chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-1992, agency: BIG) responded with 20 points. Naft Abadan have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 8-5 record. Esteghlal lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with three games lost. Naft Abadan will play against Golnoor (#6) in the next round. Esteghlal will play against Alborz (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Amol between Tabiat and Kalleh. Fourth ranked Tabiat (9-5) got a very close victory on the road over one of their biggest challengers Kalleh (10-3). Tabiat managed to escape with a 3-point win 73-70 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Kalleh. JyLan Washington notched 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) by Matin Aghajanpour did not help to save the game for Kalleh. Tabiat maintains fourth position with 9-5 record. Kalleh at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Tabiat will meet at home Pas Kordestan (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Kalleh will play against the league's leader Gorgan (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 14 Alborz was beaten by Naft Zagros on the road 88-72. Pas Kordestan won against Mahshahr on its own court 83-69.
The most impressive performance of 14th round was 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Djordje Gagic of Kalleh.



Naft Zagros - Alborz 88-72

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Naft Zagros (7-7) beat at home 10th ranked Alborz (3-10) 88-72 on Monday. Naft Zagros outrebounded Alborz 37-26 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Erfan Soleimani notched 26 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Dominican forward Edgar Sosa (190-1988, college: Louisville) supported him with 23 points and 4 assists. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by American-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) did not help to save the game for Alborz. added 12 points for the guests. Four Alborz players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naft Zagros moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Golnoor. Alborz at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Naft Zagros will meet Raad Padafan (#8) in the next round. Alborz will play against the league's second-placed Esteghlal and hope to secure a win.

Even a double-double of 11 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists by Mohamadreza Taghiloo did not help to save the game for Mahshahr.
