Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 9 in the IBL took place in Jakarta. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Borneo (6-6) to fifth ranked Pelita Jaya (8-2) 97-94 on Thursday evening. Strangely Borneo outrebounded Pelita Jaya 46-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward KJ McDaniels (197-1993, college: Clemson) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 19 points and 16 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Brandon McCoy (213-1998, college: UNLV, agency: MSG) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Borneo lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Pelita Jaya's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena Rajawali.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hangtuah (9-4) against seventh ranked Prawira (8-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Hangtuah was defeated by Prawira in Bandung 82-69. Lithuanian power forward Norbertas Giga (208-1995, college: Jax State) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and Yudha Saputera accounted for 19 points and 7 assists. American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) came up with 21 points for Hangtuah in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prawira maintains seventh place with 8-5 record. Hangtuah at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
IBL top team - Satria Muda (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Rajawali (0-11) in Jakarta 94-67. The best player for the winners was Wendell Lewis who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Quintin Dove who recorded 44 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-2 record. Loser Rajawali still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Satria Muda will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rajawali's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta Pelita Jaya.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 9: Pacific Caesar won against Bali Utd. on the opponent's court 94-89. Bali Utd. unfortunately lost to Dewa United in a home game 67-75. Bima Perkasa was rolled over Satria Muda on the road 59-83. Prawira lost to defending champion Pelita Jaya on its own court 66-83. Kesatria BS beat Satya Wacana in Jakarta 67-60. Satya Wacana lost to Pacific Caesar at home 75-87.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds by Miguel Miranda of Pacific Caesar.



Bali Utd. - Pacific Caesar 89-94

Everything could happen in Denpasar at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Pacific Caesar and 11th ranked Bali Utd. had identical 2-9 record. But Bali Utd. was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Surabaya 94-89 on Wednesday night. Pacific Caesar dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bali Utd.'s 42. The best player for the winners was American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. Puerto Rican-Dominican guard Miguel Miranda (198-2001, college: National Park) chipped in 21 points and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Xavier Cannefax (184-1989, college: WPU, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St., agency: Starting 5) added 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Pacific Caesar maintains tenth place with 3-9 record. Bali Utd. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Satya Wacana and Bima Perkasa. Pacific Caesar will meet at home higher ranked Dewa United (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bali Utd. will play against Satya Wacana (#12) in Salatiga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

IBL top team - Satria Muda (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Rajawali (0-11) in Jakarta 94-67. Satria Muda dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Rajawali's 38. Satria Muda forced 19 Rajawali turnovers and outrebounded them 50-28 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Satria Muda looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Wendell Lewis (203-1989, college: Alabama St.) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. International Julian Chalias (188-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Satria Muda players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Quintin Dove (197-1998, college: UT Martin) who recorded 44 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Tyrell Corbin (185-1992, college: CSUB) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively. Senegalese-American center Malik Dime (206-1992, college: Washington, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field).
