IBL Round 42: Prawira roll over Satya Wacana by 35 points

The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between 15th ranked Satya Wacana (4-20) and third ranked Prawira (20-3) in Salatiga on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Bandung outscored Satya Wacana 80-45. They outrebounded Satya Wacana 52-24 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Dominican Brandone Francis (194-1994, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Jarred Shaw (211-1990, college: Utah St.) contributed with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Maikel Baliba (188) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds for Satya Wacana. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prawira maintains third position with 20-3 record having just two points less than leader Satria Muda. Satya Wacana lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Jakarta: Satria Muda (#2) and Hangtuah (#10). Hangtuah was defeated at home 84-91. American forward Elijah Foster (197-1996, college: Nevada) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Arki Wisnu chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Ronnie Boyce III (191-1995, college: USF) with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Satria Muda (22-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion (22-1) keeps a position of league leader. Hangtuah at the other side keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Bali Utd.. Satria Muda will play against Bima Perkasa (#5) in Sakti in the next round. Hangtuah will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 42 Dewa United beat Evos Bogor on the road 80-74. WBS was destroyed by Bali Utd. on its own court 60-82.
