Top ranked Satria Muda (6-2) recorded its second loss on the court of second ranked Dewa United on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Dewa United 60-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Satria Muda. Dewa United dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Satria Muda's 24. Dewa United forced 24 Satria Muda turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dewa United made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was the former international Jamarr Johnson (198-1988, college: Widener) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks. Kevin Poetiray (184-1995) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Juan Kokodiputra (194-1995) who recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Despite that victory Dewa United went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Bali Utd. Defending champion Satria Muda still keeps top place with two games lost. Dewa United is looking forward to face Rans Pik (#6) in the next round. Satria Muda will play against Bali Utd. (#4) and is hoping to win this game.

Evos Bogor lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Satria Muda will play against Bali Utd. (#4) in Denpasar in the next round. Evos Bogor will play on the road against WBS (#4) in Jakarta and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Denpasar between Bali Utd. and WBS. Fifth ranked Bali Utd. (7-3) got a very close home victory over 4th placed WBS (4-6). Bali Utd. managed to escape with a 2-point win 76-74 in the game for the third place. Kendal Yancy stepped up and scored 24 points and 4 steals for the winners. The best for the losing side was Widyanta-Putra Teja with 16 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bali Utd. moved-up to third place, which they share with Dewa United. WBS lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Satya Wacana. Bali Utd. will meet league's leader Satria Muda in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. WBS will play against Evos Bogor and hope to secure a win.

Pacific Caesar outscored Bumi Borneo in a home game 77-42. Indonesia P. recorded a loss to Pelita Jaya on the road 63-49. Satya Wacana crushed Bima Perkasa on its own court 92-68. Rans Pik beat Prawira in a road game 66-55.
The best stats of 9th round was 13 points and 14 rebounds by Taj Spencer of Prawira.



Satria Muda - Evos Bogor 57-54

The best for the losing side was American Richard Ross (198-1992, college: ODU) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Danny Ray (181-1997) scored 10 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bumi Borneo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bima Perkasa.
