American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Treveon Graham (198-1993, college: VCU) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Pilots' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) added 10 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Knights. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Tochigi Brex outrebounded Kings 47-33 including a 39-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tochigi Brex players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kings' players. American center Grant Jerrett (208-1993, college: Arizona) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn State) chipped in 20 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American-Jordanian Jalen Harris (196-1998, college: Nevada) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
