Fotu's 30-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old TGA-NZLn power forward Isaac Fotu (203-PF-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 30 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Tochigi Brex in his team's victory, helping them to beat Seoul Knights (#4, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 97-89. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Tochigi Brex is placed at 2nd position in East Asia Super League. Tochigi Brex is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Fotu had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Tochigi Brex, through which he has constantly improved. University of Hawaii graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fotu is in league's top in points (6th best: 28.5ppg), rebounds (9th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 86.4% FGP and 62.5% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Darryl Monroe (202-C/F-1986) of Seoul SK Knights. He is American in his first season at Seoul Knights. In the last game Monroe recorded an impressive double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Knights lost that game 89-97 to Tochigi Brex (1-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Monroe is a newcomer at Seoul Knights and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jayden Gardner (201-F-2000, agency: MSG) of New Taipei Kings (#4). Gardner scored 29 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Gardner's great performance the Kings lost 89-107 to #2 ranked Alvark Tokyo. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The season just started for Gardner as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
