The most important game in the last round took place in Seoul between Japanese Ryukyu GK and South Korean Knights on Wednesday night. Ryukyu GK was defeated by Knights on the road 82-69. Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Ryukyu GK's 22. They outrebounded Ryukyu GK 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Knights especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds. Center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Allen Durham (198-1988, college: Grace Christian) produced 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Knights are looking forward to face Kings in Taipei in the next round. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Du'Vaughn Maxwell contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) replied with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for Fubon Braves. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
