CBA Round 1 of Finals. Shanghai Sharks claim first victory

Sharks made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American-Qatari Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) responded with 23 points and 7 assists and the former international center Jinqiu Hu (211-1997) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
