American Forward Harry Giles III (208-F-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Jiangsu Dragons Nanjing, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 46.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Shanxi L. (#10, 21-20) 87-86. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Jiangsu Dragons maintains the 19th position in Chinese CBA. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 29 games and recorded just twelve victories. In the team's last game Giles III had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Jiangsu Dragons's top player in his first season with the team. Former Duke University star has very solid stats this year. Giles III is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.4rpg) and averages impressive 57.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Javion Hamlet (193-G-1998) of Tianjin Pioneers. Hamlet had a very good evening with 46 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Pioneers lost that game 97-106 to the higher-ranked Qingdao E. (#8, 24-17). Tianjin P. is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-28 record. Hamlet is a newcomer at Tianjin P., but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.1ppg (#6). He also recorded 5.9 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jordan Mickey (203-F/C-1994) of Qingdao Eagles (#8). Mickey got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and four assists. He was a key player of Eagles, leading his team to a 106-97 win against the lower-ranked Tianjin P. (#18, 13-28). Qingdao E. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 24 victories and 17 lost games. Mickey has a great season in China. After 39 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.0bpg and a FGP of 58.0%.
