Murcia adds Hands to their roster, ex Nanjing MK

Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) added 26-year old American guard Jaylen Hands (191cm-1999, college: UCLA, agency: Octagon Europe) to their roster. He recently played for Nanjing Monkey Kings in the Chinese CBA league, where he put up impressive stats of 15.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.6apg, and 1.0spg in 22 games this season. Prior to that, he played for Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens (GBL) in the Greek league, averaging 8.7ppg, 3.1rpg, and 2.2apg in 9 games. Hands was also named League Player of the Week during his time in the Greek league.
In 2019, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) in the second round (56th overall). He attended the University of California at Los Angeles, and this is his seventh season in pro basketball.
Hands was a member of the USA Under 16 National Team in 2015.
He is quite an experienced player. He has played professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), China, Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Greece (Peristeri and PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki), Italy (Openjobmetis Varese), Serbia (KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd), Spain (Zunder Palencia), NBA G League (Long Island Nets), and NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Greek Supercup Final Four in 2024. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Rookie of the Year during 2023.
