Chinese CBA round 37 best performance: Rayjon Tucker (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Rayjon Tucker (191-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (33 points, six rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Jiangsu D. (#18, 9-25) with 38-point margin 91-53. Guangsha Lions maintains the 2nd position in Chinese CBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Guangsha L. will need more victories to improve their 27-7 record. In the team's last game Tucker had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Guangsha Lions's top player in his first season with the team. Rayjon Tucker averages this season 18.2ppg and 4.9apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Joseph Young (188-G-1992) of Qingdao Eagles. Young had a very good evening with 30 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Eagles to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Beijing RF (#12, 15-19) 105-80. Qingdao E.'s 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 20-14 record is not bad and everything may still change. Young is a newcomer at Qingdao E. and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Keyontae Johnson (195-F-1999) of Shandong Heroes (#5). Johnson scored 26 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of Heroes, leading his team to a 111-103 win against the lower-ranked Tianjin P. (#19, 9-25). Shandong H. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 22 victories and 11 lost games. Johnson has a great season in China. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.5apg (6th best).
