HK JinNiu made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Jiangxi turnovers. American guard Mason Jones (193-1998, college: Arkansas) stepped up and scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Hong Kong guard Ruihong Yang (186-1997) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four HK JinNiu players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Niven Glover (196-2000) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Mohamed Kone (188-1998, college: Bemidji St.) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marcus LoVett Jr (183-1996, college: St.John's, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Shemar Wilson (206-2001, college: UT Arlington) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Greek forward Dimitrios Agravanis (208-1994, agency: Diamond Sports) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Brandon McCoy (213-1998, college: UNLV, agency: MSG) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hefei. Five Hefei players scored in double figures. Hefei's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
