Jiangsu - Guangdong 83-73

Jiangsu looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jillian Alleyne (190-1994, college: Oregon) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Manman Zhang (172-1997) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. The former international Sijing Huang (192-1996) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Shuyu Yang (182-2002) added 10 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Five Jiangsu and four Vermilion Birds players scored in double figures.

Sports Lottery forced 25 Magic Deer turnovers. American forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (193-1992, college: MTSU) scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Junwei Cao (182-1995) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. Sports Lottery's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international point guard Wu Tongtong (176-1994) responded with 20 points and 8 assists and American Jessica Jackson (193-1995, college: Arkansas) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Strangely Swordfish outrebounded Yuanda 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Yuanda brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Swordfish was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Natasha Howard (188-1991, college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Arike Ogunbowale (173-1997, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and center Yutong Liu (201-2001) added 16 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Swordfish. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Flame dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to hengfan's 26. They outrebounded hengfan 49-25 including a 42-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flame looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by hengfan's players. American forward Shakira Austin (196-1999, college: Ole Miss) had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds (on 14-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Flame players scored in double figures. Flame's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Ding Yike (172-2003) responded with 18 points and guard Peng Huaqian (178-1995) scored 15 points.
