StrangelySwordfish outrebounded Yuanda 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Yuanda brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Swordfish was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Natasha Howard (188-1991, college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Arike Ogunbowale (173-1997, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and center Yutong Liu (201-2001) added 16 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Swordfish. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
