Experienced American Michael Bryson (193-G-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Jiangxi Ganchi and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 31-year old guard had a double-double of 42 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Zhangjiakou (#14, 0-23) with 29-point margin 112-83. Thanks to this victory Jiangxi moved-up to the 7th position in Chinese NBL. Jiangxi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-12 record. In the team's last game Bryson had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Jiangxi, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California Santa Barbara graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bryson is in league's top in points (8th best: 22.4ppg) and averages solid 62.1% FGP and 41.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Shemar Wilson (206-F-2001) of Shanghai Black Bird. Wilson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Shanghai cruised to a 95-88 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Jiangsu (#8, 11-12). Despite this victory Shanghai slide down in the standings to 4th position. His team's 14-10 record is not bad at all. Wilson is one of the most experienced players at Shanghai and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Sterling Manley (213-F/C-1998) of Guizhou Menglong (#13). Manley scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Manley's great performance the Guizhou lost 77-100 to the higher-ranked Hefei (#2, 20-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Guizhou not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Manley could try to bring Guizhou's a little bit higher in the standings. Manley has individually a great season in China. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.4rpg (9th best). He also has 1.5bpg and a FGP of 66.0%.
